An academic project focused on encouraging the proper disposal of batteries, using fun as the main device. The project was based on the Fun Theory, which consists on audience interaction with the object, so that it stimulates the mood and the receptivity of the product, motivating the user to discard batteries correctly and has aware of its danger. The product is a garbage can for kids that works as a dumping ground for batteries, but with features that almost makes it a toy.
In search of warning the children in advance of the project - so they could collect as much battery as possible to put in the Papa Pilha - little bags were developed containing a disposable glove and a tag with critical information about this environmental problem, as the risk that the battery may cause, ways to help and proper collection points in Rio de Janeiro.
